WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
3+ years proven experience in allocation/ location planning / assortment planning
Excellent knowledge of Excel, MS Windows applications quick learner for new systems & applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with a broad range of audiences including business leaders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Commercial & Entrepreneurial mind- and skillset, ability to negotiate and trade pre- and in-season
Knowledge of Just Enough allocation system a plus.
Passionate focus on team environment and relationships, be the voice of the team to leadership
Ability to travel up to 5%

This role makes Nike’s assortment of innovative product come to life in our stores & digital service hubs by positioning our inventory to match consumer demand across our physical and digital platforms. This individual will understand consumer needs & the marketplace and create ad-hoc reporting as needed to drive allocation decisions, and educate stakeholders on stock position, risks and opportunities.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Senior Allocator you will be the leading example in Allocation Fundamentals. Your responsibilities will include capturing market and store trends and partnering with the Merchandising and Assortment Planning teams to drive a compelling assortment for our retail doors and maximize sales. You will determine the right depth per store/style/size for the initial allocation considering the information provided by the Merchandising team, current sales trend analyses, sales targets and store capacity.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Be a Just Enough Super User (Global Allocation Tool); provide input on enhancement opportunities while maximizing current system functionally - lead best practice sessions within the Allocation team & drive continuous process improvements
Analyze sales and inventory information to forecast future sales to optimize the replenishment process
Minimize end of season stock; ramp down replenishment on slow seller to increase store sell through and minimize returns and markdowns
Understand launch and marketing initiatives; proactively acquire necessary information to support campaigns and initiatives to ensure coverage of product used
Be the proxy for the Gender Allocation Manager
Tactical lead for Gender Segment team through seasonal set up and in-season trade
Engage regularly in the development of the gender allocation team, provide meaningful feedback and coaching in the moment
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report to the Gender Lead Allocation Planning Manager, supporting Nike Direct Stores, specifically Nike Value Stores. You will work closest with teammates in Merchandising and Assortment Planning, but will build positive relationships with Location Planning, Merchandise Financial Planning, Supply Chain and store leaders to ensure end-to-end execution of our assortment strategy.
