Nike Senior Talent Researcher in Beaverton, Oregon


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 6+ years of experience in Talent Research, Market Research, or other Research-forward roles

  • 2 years' additional experience in lieu of a degree

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong presentation skills with an ability to turn data into a visual report using Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, or other data modeling tools

  • Sound decision making ability and a natural draw towards building partnerships across all levels in the business

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Boolean Search and/or other Query Logic(s)

  • Ability to be agile and manage shifting priorities

  • A passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace

  • Willingness to mentor junior colleagues and partners

  • Talent sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience


We're looking for a Senior Talent Researcher who has passion and experience around candidate research, competitive market intelligence and analytics, and relationship development! Our Senior Talent Researchers on Nike's Global Talent Acquisition team help up-level our sourcing and recruiting efforts by providing crucial data and insights to Nike's recruiting partners. We build out and execute research strategies that supplement Nike Inc.’s various recruiting and diversity initiatives.


In support of the talent market and competitive intelligence research, you will possess an agile approach to constantly evolving priorities and the analytical capacity to sort through large amounts of data and draw out relevant information. To help our business partners make critical, strategic decisions, you will translate data into easy-to-understand formats with a focus on storytelling. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are strong at build positive relationships with external partners. You will regularly utilize technologies such as SeekOut, TalentNeuron, Hiretual, LinkedIn, and Avature to compile market research.

Market Intel Research Projects may include:

  • Creating source company lists, broken down by function

  • Using tools to analyze relevant talent data and competitive market intelligence

  • Crafting market research decks outlining talent pool locations, demographics, skillsets, etc.

  • Generating leads and pipelining of diverse, passive talent from target companies with desired skillsets

Market Intel processes may include:

  • Maintaining systems of tracking prospects sourced by Nike's sourcers and recruiters

  • Establishing appropriate metrics and personal/team goals for market intel and talent research productivity and efficiency

Market Intel distribution of research may include:

  • Developing positive relationships with talent partners outside of Nike, Inc.

  • Crafting visually exciting and easy-to-follow research decks in PowerPoint

  • Using and Developing a market intelligence platform


You will be a member of the TA Global Sourcing and Research team within Global Talent Acquisition, while supporting Nike’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence. You will develop market intel across all essential functions and businesses of Nike, and share visual reports with Recruiting senior leadership and business partners.
