We are looking for an analytically minded Search Engine Marketing Specialist to focus on planning, testing and prioritizing efforts to achieve maximum impact across major search engines in global markets from an organic search perspective. You would provide global regions with worthwhile support in achieving research-backed strategies. Our SEM specialist must have a strong understanding of how search engines rank different pages. Using testing plans and software combined with analytics, you will look at website traffic patterns to determine which parts of a page work, and which parts need adjustment. Search engines typically rank pages on the quality of their content, their keyword usage, how many backlinks a page has, and how many similar sites exist, but you will need to know the nuances of at least Google, Baidu, Yandex, Yahoo Japan and Naver to help regions determine how search engine optimization strategies, pay-per-click advertising, and social media marketing will help expand their online presence.

This position will support digital demand generation/lead generation for various regions with the context of a multi-channel, data driven approach. Plan, develop and implement our SEO/SEM strategy in partnership with Commercial Marketing leadership
Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization providing measurable ROI to the business
Identify key SEO/SEM KPIs and present reports regularly on those KPIs performance in support of Corporate/Regional KPIs
Provide advanced analysis and reporting on existing / future SEO initaitives
Monitor diagnostic tools for site errors, enhancements and Search Visibility status
Discover competitive gaps, and provide recommendations to improve
Perform keyword research and mapping documents for all Tektronix Web properties
Provide recommendations for SEO on-page elements and content/inbound strategy
Align Organic and Paid Search strategies to maximize Search Engine coverage and efficiency
Monitor industry news, trends, and shifts to align with evolving Search Engine Marketing strategies
Communicate with other marketing teams to align and improve over-arching digital strategy and work with web developers and marketing teams to properly implement SEO best
5-7 years of experience as Search Engine Marketing Specialist or similar role
5 years of experience with planning and implementing a successful SEO/SEM strategy
Proven success in SEO
3-5 years of experience web analytics, marketing, and business development
Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics
Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations to all levels of stakeholders
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with common Adobe Analytics (Site Catalyst), Tableau, Adobe Experience Cloud and marketing data warehouse platforms
Experience with common keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner) and Conductor Searchlight preferred
BS/BA degree required
