Description

In 1981, Nike created the EKIN team (EKIN is “Nike” spelled backwards) to be Nike’s brand evangelists and keep its entrepreneurial spirit alive through personal and meaningful relationships.

As the Senior Manager, EKIN Experience, you will identify new ways of building personal and meaningful relationships at scale in the global omni-channel environment. You will create content that empowers EKINs and Nike Store athletes around the world to inspire athletes* to bring sport into their lives. You will craft authentic and relevant stories by collaborating with Nike product and brand teams on key product stories and envision new ways of ensuring those stories reach consumers through the EKINs.

Responsibilities:

Global Strategy & Partnership

  • Pioneer strategic partnerships, internally and externally, discovering new ways to better connect sport with the consumer through EKINs and Nike Store Athletes.

  • Craft the future of the EKIN function, adapting to consumer and competitive landscape across technology, sport & culture globally.

  • Distill the complex world of consumers and trends into insights from EKINs that will make meaningful impact in the direction of Nike Marketing.

Functional Expertise & Excellence

  • Cultivate and embody the EKIN entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring EKINs to build personal and meaningful relationships with consumers and Nike brand.

  • Serve Global EKIN teams with relevant resources that enable teams to move forward efficiently and effectively.

Seasonal Planning & Execution

  • Develop seasonal tools, training plans & programs to enable EKIN Teams to execute against Nike Direct priorities.

  • Deliver seasonal content and tools to enable Geo/Territory EKIN Teams to deliver high-touch impact against brand initiatives leading Nike Direct, key retailers and consumers in the omni-channel marketplace.

  • Global Mindset: In-depth knowledge of the Global Marketplace with an understanding of the competitive market, consumers and retail trends

  • Pioneer: Comfortable trying new tools and adapting to process improvements

  • Influencer: Strong concept presentation skills.

  • Self-starter: Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed

  • Organized: Multi-tasking capabilities, with ability to project manage and/or work on a variety of different projects and workstreams at one time

  • Leader: Proven experience leading a project or campaign (excellent organizational skills).

  • Empathetic: Strong people skills, diplomacy and collaborative spirit

  • Diverse Background: 5+ years work experience in the following (or a combination of): Marketing, Retail Marketing, Event/Experience Design, Communications, Content development, Project management or production etc.) [2 additional years required in lieu of a degree]
