We currently have an opening for an entry-level Baler starting at $17.98/hour at the Beaverton Kraft Paper Bag facility. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. The primary function of the Baler is to off bear and palletize pre-wrapped bundles of bags at the discharge end of a bag-producing press.
Essential Duties Include
Follow print requisitions to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets
Vacuum lift must be utilized to move the heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to the pallets
Wrap bundles using Kraft paper, tape, and strapping machines
Occassional use of manual pallet jack
Sorting and lifting pallets
Baling up to 5 machine lines per shift
General housekeeping duties
Other duties as assigned

Candidates Must Be Able To Do The Following
Be flexible to work day shift, swing shift, and graveyard shift.
Work weekends, Holidays, and mandatory overtime as required.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety steel toed shoes.
The hiring process for qualified candidates will include a pre-employment operations test and team interview. Must be able to successfully complete employment verifications, background check, health assessment, drug screen, and employment authorizations.
