WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Finance and/or Accounting
An MBA (with a concentration on Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field)
Experience working in a fast paced, innovative supply chain/material related environment, with Product Sourcing, preferred
Experience with consumer products and/or footwear manufacturing preferred
5+ years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, financial modeling– proven track record to take quantitative concepts and establish business impacts and sensitivities
Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships, work well across teams, functions and layers
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey sophisticated information in a simple, easily understood way to a diverse group of partners
Self-starter, organized, resourceful, results oriented and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Ability to define sophisticated issues and drive to establish creative solutions
Problem solve through curiosity, diving deep, finding solutions, delivering results
Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Who are we looking for
We're looking for someone with a passion for sport and finance to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for driving excellence in financial planning as well as critical initiatives for Materials Sourcing & Manufacturing (MSM), a core function within Global Sourcing & Manufacturing. The new, unified MSM organization will transform our material capabilities, processes and accelerate our vision to serve every athlete*.
This role will be a valuable contributor to the team to ensure delivery of in year financial goals and functional performance management. You will identify strategic financial and operational opportunities and will build plans to mitigate these risks and capture these opportunities. You will build strong working relationships with the broader MSM team and related Finance Functions to meet MSM goals across Innovation, Product Excellence, Delivery, Cost Efficiency and Sustainability.
This role requires a highly motivated finance professional with a strong ability to synthesize a diverse range of financial and operating inputs to anticipate future state financial impact and influence senior leadership. Results-oriented and strategic, you thrive in a cross-functional environment, wearing different hats depending on the topic or issue at hand. You are comfortable engaging with different partner groups, tailoring your messages accordingly and building positive relationships. This role is perfect for a team-player with drive, curiosity, and communication skills. You know how to rise above the day-to-day and help support important strategies and sustained results.
What you will work on
You will drive strategic finance support for some of the following (but not limited to):
Value Creation and Capture: development and alignment of business cases, frameworks and size optimization opportunities in support of pivotal materials initiatives
Financial risk management and Arrangements Governance
Build and deploy risk and performance management framework
Assess Partner financial health and support Partner Management engagements
Financial decision support for partner arrangements
Corp Audit remediation: Partner to build a control framework over supplier rebate oversight and pricing management
Provide financial considerations to the development and execution of other MSM key initiatives
Financial planning & Performance Management: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, forecasting, close, and reporting processes
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will develop tight-knit collaborations across the Materials ecosystem, including MSM Costing, Sourcing, Planning, Partner Management & the OpEx team. You will also interact closely with our FW, AP and SM&S Finance teams. Other critical partners include subject matter specialist across Finance (e.g. Global, Geo and GOT and other SG&A).
