SUMMARY

The Label Technician collaborates directly with the department supervisor and across departments to provide company-wide support of the label printing process, new label development, and implementation of changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, document, and maintain labels, label files, and label-related policies and procedures.

  • Ensure labels are correct and meet customer specifications.

  • Implement changes that affect labels.

  • Print labels as required by users.

  • Maintain label-printing machines, including coordinating repair and maintenance.

  • Maintain appropriate levels of label stock.

  • Provide troubleshooting and problem solving for all label-related issues.

  • Provide various signs and labels as requested.

  • Contribute to a positive team working environment.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Treat everyone at Vanguard, its vendors and customers with dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

Intermediate level of proficiency in computer systems and computer applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Language Skills

English (reading, writing, and verbal)

Mathematical Skills

General math skills and ability
