The Wideband Solutions Business Unit is looking for an Early Career Hardware Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a passionate individual who is a positive influencer and change agent, to develop solutions to meet our customer needs.
Translate hardware specifications into designs that meet customer cost, schedule and performance requirements.
Work with a multi-discipline team to design low cost reliable scope products.
Problem Solve using a structured process and troubleshoot difficult field problems while working with Reliability Engineering.
Research cost, quality, reliability, and best practices to specify, and direct external contract engineers for electronic redesign services.
Perform feasibility studies and make recommendations.
Board-level design/redesign of analog and digital circuits using schematic capture and simulation tools
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the organization, using the Fortive Business System (FBS) tool box.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver results
Demonstrate leadership when necessary while working in a team environment.
Minor travel required, common destinations are India and China
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering or equivalent field
Analog and Digital Design experience
Circuit Board Design Skills
Instrumentation background (power supply, display, front panel, main acquisition board), any test and measurement background is good
Exposure to Low cost design/manufacturing skills/experience
