What you bring to Nike:

  • Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis in Operations, Finance and/or Accounting; MBA or advanced degree is preferred

  • 10+ years of business operational experience, including experience in Logistics

  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple functions to drive alignment

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executive-level professionals as a trusted advisor

  • Excellent executive-level communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver high-impact presentations on complex topics to leaders at all levels

  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative background with experience quantifying value creation for complex, non-traditional solutions

  • Proven ability to anticipate future trends/ patterns and build innovative strategies.

  • Proven ability to translate strategies into actionable plans and lead/manage multiple projects at a time.

  • Experience working in a global environment across a matrixed organization

  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

As our Global Business Innovation Director, you will report directly to the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain Innovation. This role will partner with the VPs and SRDRs in Global Operations and Logistics, acting as a thought partner for business challenges and helping to optimize the function, team efficiency and impact on the business results through truly innovative thinking!

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • In our constantly evolving world you will help us raise the bar on Nike's end-to-end value chain expertise by working in close partnership with internal and external innovation leaders related to Transportation, Distribution, and Planning.

  • Play a significant role in executing our multi-year transformational supply chain strategy in partnership with geographies and functions

  • Serve as connection point into Gartner and Corporate Development to continuously push teams to the future, elevate insights & trends, and generate ideas

  • Partner with GEO SCI/Reporting teams to develop common operational metrics, reports, and insights; assess and drive operating performance across Geos

  • Partner with Global Analytics to ensure consumer requirement gathering, network design principles, and network models accelerate broader strategic goals

  • With the support of new tools and analytics, synthesize data and transform critical metric sessions to drive action based on key insights and trends for Logistics, Marketplace Operations, and Sustainability

  • Anticipate, identify and facilitate the solution to enterprise issues concerning critical business needs, and effectively connect with leadership across organizations to influence the end-to-end solutions.

  • Coordinate and support the synthesis and packaging of sophisticated analyses, effectively deliver results and drive deeper data, supply chain, and customer knowledge across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Bring performance management capability to the next level: drive a forward looking, measurable view of supply chain performance, drive through surface statistics to root cause and action, transform information reviews to decision venues, spur the organization to continuously meet and beat daring performance targets and deliver transparency to key accomplishments.

  • Partner with a strong team of supply chain innovators, program managers and analysts. You will build compelling strategies using Supply Chain analytics resulting in impactful execution plans, align leadership partners around a common plan and roadmap and translate strategy through to measurable business outcomes.
