Description

Nike Innovation is currently seeking an experienced Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) to explore new opportunities and innovative business models. We are looking for an experienced Product Director/Creative Director for an existing customized product marketplace. This person would be responsible for the overall look and feel of the brand, digital, and physical products, as well as manage the design and dev team, and layout the business strategy and roadmap.

This role would be responsible for researching targeted consumers, ideating solutions to their pain points, and turning those solutions into unbranded, in-market startups.

Our ideal candidate has 10+ years working experience in entrepreneurial and/or intrepreneurial environments responsible for finding product market fit for new businesses and orchestrating the early stages of growth. You are fluent in consumer-centered design and lean innovation and have the ability to communicate your learnings/insights to stakeholders and collaborators for the purposes of garnering support for new business concepts and translating vision into product.

You have previously envisioned, built, and grown consumer facing products, services, and brands and have the lessons from success and failure.

What you’ll be working on as a Product Owner:

  • Responsiblefor both digital and physical products

  • Responsiblefor overall consumer experience

  • Featurebacklog management

  • Managerof tech and design teams

  • Quality Assurance

  • Responsiblefor the digital product roadmap, features, look & feel, etc.

As a Creative Director:

  • Overalldirection and look/feel of the brand

  • Brandmanagement

  • Campaignand curatorial oversight working in tandem with marketing team

  • Responsiblefor the physical product roadmap, features, etc.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience building startups or lines of business within a corporate environment

  • Digital Community and/or two-sided marketplace experience

  • Proven track record of driving growth through traditional & social media channels, referral programs, and by designing network effects

  • Excellent team Management and presentation skills

  • Understanding of how to calculate key growth-related metrics and how they drive marketing budget and business model

  • Mass customization experience a plus
