The fundamental purpose of the Shipper position is to operate an industrial lift truck SAFELY to transport product or raw materials from line to the warehouse, from warehouse to trucks, or directly from line to trucks, load product into shipping containers, unload pallets from trucks with the lift truck, and drive clamp truck to receive roll stock. Organize and Inventory product every day/week/month etc. This job requires a fast-paced individual that can multi-task and make good decisions with little to no supervision. Work well with other departments, and train new entry-level warehouse staff on proper procedures.
It is essential to learn all aspects of the Shipping job including the Roll Clamp truck, and be able to do both sides of the Warehouse while running your own shift with little to no supervision. Roll Clamp drivers make srue the line is fed with the proper rolls per machine 3-4 times per shift. This includes using the oldest dates, oldest paper, correct weights and widths pertaining to each individual machine. Moving product and keeping up on the Warehouse to make sure it stays very organized is a must. Working with truck drivers and being able to communicate any issues to them, your direct Supervisor, or Foreman. Communicaiton skills are very important, and must always be part of your daily routine.
Receiving product from the outside is a critical part of this position. You must receive, verify, document, and communicate with most every department. Must be able to adapt and learn new processes and procedures.
It is imperative to work together as a team. Must be able to take clear direction, and give and recieve feedback, whether positive or negative. Must be safety consicious and follow all of our established safety rules.

Must be available to work all shifts and mandatory overtime.
